Clothing has the 4th largest environmental impact in the world after housing, transport and food.
For every 1 tonne of garments reused as opposed to directed to landfill, greenhouse gas emissions are reduced by 7 tonnes. Being sustainable and driving a real change towards clothing and ecological integrity is a huge focus for us.
Textiles 2030 is WRAP’s new ground-breaking, expert-led initiative, harnessing the knowledge and expertise of UK leaders in sustainability to accelerate the whole fashion and textiles industry’s move towards circularity and system change in the UK.
